Design
The design studio is the creative heart of De La Espiga. Here, designers and clients collaborate on concept generation, material selection, and style definition.
Thanks to computer-aided design tools, we transform abstract ideas into clear, production-ready plans.
Product Development
Once the design is approved, the development team creates prototypes that undergo functional and quality testing.
We fine-tune details, verify ergonomics, and confirm that the finishes meet the initial vision before commencing large-scale manufacturing.
Cutting
Our cutting module features high-precision machines controlled by CAD software.
From simple patterns to complex designs, the system ensures exact cuts and optimal material utilization, minimizing waste.
Leather Skiving
In the skiving area, we prepare the leathers through drying, degreasing, and thickness refining processes.
The objective is to obtain uniform sheets that facilitate subsequent cutting and manufacturing, while maintaining the leather’s natural flexibility and resistance.
Painting
This space is dedicated to applying colors and finishes with the precision of an artistic palette and the rigor of industry.
We use eco-friendly pigments and controlled spraying techniques to ensure uniform coverage, wear resistance, and a vibrant appearance that enhances the personality of each piece.
Finishing
Once cut and sewn, the pieces move to the finishing area, where the final touches are applied: seam polishing, edge sanding, protector application, and final adjustments.
This step ensures an impeccable presentation and durability in line with the highest standards.
Packaging
The final presentation is managed in our packaging area, where we design packaging that protects the product and reinforces brand identity.
We use recyclable materials and smart packaging techniques so that each piece reaches the client in optimal condition and with an impactful image.
Small Leather Goods
In our small goods workshop, specialized artisans handcraft wallets, coin purses, cases, and everyday accessories.
Each item is crafted with the dedication that detail demands, combining tradition and experienced workmanship to achieve unique results.
